About ADJ Custom Builders

ADJ Custom Builders was started in 2004 by owner Dale Johnston. Dale has worked in the building industry for the past thirteen years, starting out under the influence of his father, a contractor and designer with 40 years of industry experience. Dale's official career began in 1993 as an apprentice working in the residential field. Working his way up the ranks quickly, Dale was managing crews just a few years later.

After nine years of residential construction, Dale switched to the commercial sector and started working for Kirkwood Construction. Dale was hired on as job superintendent and ran several complex jobs during this time with Kirkwood. After a few years of commercial building, Dale moved back to his home town of Olympia to be near his family. He then began ADJ Custom Builders with the invaluable knowledge he has gained with his work experience.

Several members of our talented staff have been with the company from the start, and had a big part in creating the system that makes us successful. Though we are still growing as a team, we are proud to say that each and every one of our employees are reliable craftsmen!
